If the photos are any indication, she's still in beautiful condition. Shouldn't take nearly as much work compared with some other acquisitions. Let's hope this engine and some others will get an opportunity to stretch their legs. . . |

Always wondered where she would end up. Congrats to all concerned. Steven had told me it needed a complete overhaul like any steam locomotive is going to need. Agreed being stored indoors has its advantages. Hope JJ finds time for this one and the Decapod when it finally gets out. Am sure Richard would like to look down and see it hot! Saw this hot in about 1970 or so for its first time in Wi. Funny never made it to Northlake till it was cold and long out of service. Cheers, John. |
