Sept. 1999 issue of THE RAILWAY MAGAZINE (British) reports the death of steam expert A.E. 'Dusty' Durant. His ashes were dispersed into the firebox of a South African steam locomotive.<br>He wrote definitive works on Garratts, Mallets, and foreign steam topics.<p><br> |
