Post subject:  Vulcan preservationist Spohrer passes

George Spohrer has passed away. He purchased the side rod Vulcan that had been on display in Wilkes-Barre, PA. The unit was previously at the LVC #6 colliery in Hazelton. He had it moved to RMDI in Pittston, PA where it kept company with the little Belgian steamer Prince of Liege and the RMDI diesels. Most of the equipment there was scrapped after severe flooding.

Did Spohrer's Vulcan make it out?

I could not find the Vulcan at steamlocomotive.info
