Would anybody know where I can get my hands on a copy of "Railway Review: Volume 54" from the year 1914? It can be either a hard copy or in digital form. Only snippets are available through Google Books. Thanks in advance. |

Unbelievably, I think we have *some* of these at the Maryland Rail Heritage Library, split between a few hard-bound volumes on a shelf and (I think) some still lurking in the "Estate Collection Annex," i.e. an insulated storage container being used to house unprocessed arrivals from one estate....... E-mail and/or PM me to nag me to do a search. Otherwise you'll just get lost in the "Things to do" queue.... |

There used to be bound volumes of Railway Review in the Crerar Library at the Illinois Institute of Technology. At some point about thirty years ago these migrated to the University Of Chicago Library, where I was able to copy some information. At that time, Railway Review and Railway Mechanical Engineer were up in the stacks, while much the rest of the Crerar materials were in semi dead storage in the basement. I have no idea what the situation is now, but it might be worth contacting the U of C library. |

The Barriger railroad library at the University of MO - St. Louis has the full year in three bound volumes. I saw them today. Contact Nick Fry, curator of the library, at fryn@umsl.edu. |

None are showing up on Internet Archive, but some bound annual editions of Railway Review are scattered around on Google Books. I didn't spend more than five minutes looking, and found 1913 and 1915: http://books.google.com/books?id=sBBCAQ ... &q&f=false http://books.google.com/books?id=jAVCAQ ... &q&f=false |

Thanks all. I did search archive.org and a number of other places before posting. Nothing for the specific volume I'm looking for. |

I have confirmed that the Md. Rail Heritage Library has Railway Review from 1914, probably a complete volume hardbound. Now what did you want from it? |
