I am pleased to announce the initial line up for the 2013 Depot Days on May 18th and 19th. Its looking to be another fabulous event with new attractions. We are overjoyed to host the AAPRCO's annual general meeting which means from wednesday thru sunday we will have up to 12 private varnish cars stabled next to the roundhouse in Cheyenne, this will be a wonderful thing to see here in Cheyenne. On the 18th and 19th the Sherman Hill model railroad club will hold there excellent model railroad show...this year at the Frontier Park showground. The UP steam shop and roundhouse will be open for tours (via trolley only) Wasatch railroad contractors will have their first open house at the new bigger premises with miniature steam train rides and shop tours. Car 57 should be back downtown along with Caboose 2516 (for the first time)celebrating her 100th year. The Depot museum art show will be open and the UC&N model railroad plus vendors in the depot lobby itself. The free trolleys will be running to all locations except the Sherman hill show where there is ample parking A joint ticket will be available for both events. Looking forward to a great weekend.
