The trucks for BCER 1225 have been completely rehabilitated along with the motors.
Shane Carr, master machinist did a fantastic job on them.
(http://www.carrsmachining.com) Motors were done by SMS.
The trucks will be reunited with the body on July 24th.

Are the red oil covers prototype or a modern enhancement to aid maintenance?

A modern enhancement to aid maintenance. As our group gains experience we may paint the covers to replicate original.
