Hello all, the title sums it all up. According to the Pere Marquette Historical Society there is a PM Dining car, Dining Car #10, stored on private property in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. The sister, Dining car #11, was in "Steamboat Springs, Colorado where it sat at the Iron Horse restaurant with a few ex-C&O streamlined cars until all were removed from the property in the late 1980s. Number 11's current location is unknown."

I have looked on the internet for #10, but with no luck at all. Does anyone have any pictures or current info on either car #10 or #11? Thanks for the help!

That car has been gone a long, long time. It was part of a restaurant owned and operated by Silver Dollar City and actually in Pigeon Forge (not Gatlinburg). It had a hole chopped in the side and other typical roadhouse conversions and was with anothe rlightweight car. They closed the eatery and tried to give the car to a local NRHS chapter who had no interestet or need for it or the car that was with it. Both were cut up...I think some small parts were salvaged. All of this happened...maybe in 1978? A long time ago for sure.

Somebody needs to update that PMHS list.

Okay, that takes care of Dining Car #10. Does anybody have info on the #11?
