That's just great! East Chattanooga depot hasn't been open daily since Mr. Lamb became unable to man it. Herman Lamb also had an extensive photo and slide collection that he himself had taken well before diesels conquered the Southern (for a few short years, anyway). He and Dorothy managed a photo/camera store in Chattanooga for many, many years as I recall, but that was before my time. They had both been long retired and accounted for an amazing amount of volunteer hours with Mr. Lamb as agent at East Chattanooga and Mrs. Lamb at Grand Junction 5-6 days per week and sometimes more. Mr. and Mrs. Lamb were old school sales clerks when it came to hawking tickets and gift shop stuff (read: you always left with something), but they both always had the best interests of TVRM at heart.
