Hello,

....stumbled across this video on Youtube.

Interesting "stack talk".....more like a jet airliner. Also it was running a bit rich. They were saving water but not coal!

Notice the screen over the condenser fans keeping the loose coal from being launched!

And a third....7th video down the list...a 25C is quickly followed by a 25NC showing the difference. The 25NC sports the long sleek tender which originally was a condenser tender but with the gear removed.

I believe the 3511 still exists with the orginal condenser gear....I believe the only one remaining so fitted. Maintenance heavy but an interesting adventure into advanced steam design.
