Went out to look at the two cars boxcars mentioned on RYPN last week. They are a B-50-27 40' boxcar built in Albina in June 1940 and a B-50-19 40' car built in Grand Island in October 1936. The 1936 car is in the best condition and would make a really nice workshop for the Car 57 project, the other car would be nice too if it was reasonable enough to move two instead of just one. michael.pannell@btinternet.com We are a 501C non profit and these cars would be nice to save, with one an ideal candidate to be restored and placed outside the depot museum in Cheyenne with the UP 2-10-2 Steam loco and 1910 CA1 caboose eventually.
