Post subject:  Help a WI Railway Museum through Facebook
The Colfax Railroad Museum is participating in Chase's "Community Giving" program this summer, and needs your help.

The Chase Community Giving program donates $5.05M to 200 selected charities picked by the Chase Community on Facebook. All it takes is for you to like the Chase Community Giving profile, and then search for the museum under their available charities.

Facebook members are given 20 votes to spread to the charities of their choice, and can earn up to 5 more "gift votes" to help spread the wealth. Those charities that make it into top 200 receive a minimum of $20K (and the Colfax RR Museum has applied for a FEH Challenge Grant which can match 1:3). Those that finish in the top 5 earn $100k, and the top vote earner in the second round receives $500k.

Voting starts on June 15th and runs through July 16th.

Dear Lord.

There are 360 entries if you search for "Railway," and 700+ if you enter "railroad"....... There are rail museums I've never HEARD of here, and places that we know well here...... even a couple supposedly "elusive" places like Ohio Railway Museum are there! Even supposedly "dead" society chapters!

WHY AREN'T YOU GUYS PROMOTING THIS BETTER?!?

It would be easier to promote if more people had joined Chase Community Giving last year when they had initiated it. Bill, the Vice-President found out about it last year and caught the announcement because he had an update from the fan page on Facebook.
