Time is getting short to get her done by Saturday (IRM Diesel Days), but it appears the light at the end of the tunnel, is (Finally!) the headlight of a Big, Red locomotive!

Nice job, was this a recent restoration or a repaint of a previously restored locomotive?

This is a recent restoration, she went into the shop in 2002, and came out Friday about 10pm, was started for the first time in 7+ years a little after midnight, Friday night, just in time for this weekend's Diesel Days.

She looks great. Congrats to all involved.

Diesel preservation warms my heart.
