I heard that Steamtown's 3254 suffered some sort of bearing failure. I was just wondering if they know how extensive the damage is. I also heard that NKP 514 sufferd a traction motor failure. Is that all that happened or is there more damage I didn't hear about? J.T. |

Hi JT, I was talking with Will on the phone today. He said that 3254 is in the shop being worked on , but they haven't found yet what is wrong with her and why she heated up so much. and 514 is back out running. They been using her all week with railcamp. I'll find out more this Saturday when I'm up working on 565. Len. |
