| Post subject: | Union Pacific CA/1 caboose / shed found |
Hello to all You never know what you might stumble across, out today spraying lawns i spotted a yellow piece of wood on the back of a shed. looking closer it had red lettering on it. Where the tar paper on the shed had come off revealed the fact that the back of the shed was built from individual boards salvaged from a wooden UP caboose. The planks are all randomly fitted so the numbers cant (yet) be read the paint is in fabulous condition however. Plans are afoot to remove the boards and replace them with something less interesting, then match the boards up again and reveal the numbers and history !! Keep those eyes peeled.
