A number of years ago when they were selling off the front "lawn" south of the original plant one buildings, they had a big FOR SALE sign on the front lawn. It of course referred to the plot of real estate, but they put it up right next to the big EMD sign that was on the southwest corner of the property (55th and East Avenue) so it looked like the entire business was for sale. Of course shortly after that, it was for sale! PC |
