I read this ad in Rail Swap. Any museums need to check for missing plates?

Description
We presently have some original plates available from the NP, N&W, GN, L&N, NYNH&H, BAR, B&M, NKP, PRR, and a few others. Please send me your email address and I will send you a copy of our current list. We are also interested in purchasing original steam, electric, and diesel builder's and number plates. We also conduct searches for museums and private collectors. We will travel and have funds available for the purchase of large collections.

That ad would be from Ron Muldowney and his partner Tim.

I have dealt with them for years as a buyer and could not think of a more reputable collector or dealer than these two.

Thanks for the update. One never knows all the spots where one finds things and it is better to speak up so someone can answer with knowledge. Now, we all know of a legitimate dealer. If you are not familiar with Rail Swap, try it. RailSwap.org.
