15 inches of rain and lots of melting snow have swollen rivers in Western Washington. At the Northwest Railway Museum, over 2 miles of track and two bridges are under water. The iconic Snoqualmie Depot has been spared but there is water in the new Conservation and Restoration Center. Updates and a few photos are on their web site at http://www.trainmuseum.org/FloodJan09.asp |

If you want to get a bit of a visual on where the flooding is occurring: http://ahps2.wrh.noaa.gov/ahps2/index.php?wfo=sew It also includes forecasts of flooding levels for some locations. Bob Bunge (for the record, I'm partly involved the management of the above site) |
