According to their web site, the Sandy River Railroad Park at Phillips, Maine has leased the Monson 3 from the Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad and Museum in Portland. This is great news; not only will another of the 5 surviving two foot locomotives get its Form Four and continue in operation, but the Sandy River Museum will get an appropiate steam locomotive to operate on their rails! Has anyone seen any news stories or further information about these events? Ted Miles |
