Interesting photo of scrapping operations Delores, Colorado September 15, 1952: http://www.urbaneagle.com/ngpics/winslow/rgs3.jpg Apparently the scrapper had to remove the railroad name from 42's tender in order to use her in the scrapping of the railroad. I should know this I guess, but I don't; did #42 survive? Les |

Yes; owned now by D&S, currently unservicible, on display in museum section of Durango roundhouse. |
