Most defiantly a case of the blind man with a blank check. the invoice from BN stated a purchase price of 40+k Most wooden cars off the railroads sold for less than 5K the steel cars between 3-8K Al P. > I found this site recently, and thought > someone here might be interested. Unless my old eyes totally deceive me, that 40+k figure is in a column headed "weight" Looks like a nice conversion job, but the money is still high though |
