Post subject:  SP&S Caboose for sale

I found this site recently, and thought someone here might be interested. I think they are asking a RIDICULOUS amount of money for this thing, but
then again, we have never had to buy a caboose, only a combine ;-)

Most defiantly a case of the blind man with a blank check. the invoice from BN stated a purchase price of 40+k Most wooden cars off the railroads sold for less than 5K the steel cars between 3-8K

Unless my old eyes totally deceive me, that 40+k figure is in a column headed "weight"

Looks like a nice conversion job, but the money is still high though
