I have been viewing the restoration of the PRR E-8 on the PRR Historical Society web page hoping to see the day when it would be complete. The job these fellows did was breathtaking!!!! To see that engine look like that under the catenary and a signal bridge along the "Broadway" with the 120 was like seeing a mirage. I don't know who Bennett Levin is, but he sure does it right! The State of Pennsylvania and the Altoona Railroad museum should consider asking Mr. Levin and his crew to undertake their PRR restorations. With a job like this under their belt the posibilities are mind bogeling. Good Job to the Juniata Terminal Company! I wish I lived closer so I could see it in person! Thank you!
DP199300@worldnet.com |

Whoa Baby!!!!!!!!!! What a job! Bennett Levin, If you are a Baldwin fan I appeal to you to try and rescue the "Sharks", even though they are former NYC units, I would love to see what you could do for them. Oh well, just a thought, you did a great job on the E-8. Any plans yet for its operation? I can just imagine it assualting the Allegheny front again. Also, why "PHILA" and "PAVONIA" on the pilot?
EMD710G3B@aol.com |
