Once again, is there anyone out there who can show us a recent photo of ex-Sierra RR 2-8-0 No. 18? I believe it is part of the Kepner collection stored at McCloud, California. The most recent photo I've seen of it was taken in the 1930s, while used in movie work. Surely someone out there must have taken a picture of it since then...
I don't have a recent photo, but the 18 (sans tender) sat in a used car lot outside of Sacramento for years before ending up in the Dobbas yard at Antelope adjacent to the SP yard.
It was a pretty well worn out machine. Anyone taking on this as a project has their work cut out for them.
Roger
