Southwest Lumber #12, a retired standard gauge 2-6-6-2 is on static display at what I believe is the Museum of Northern Arizona, just north of Flagstaff. This little articulated appears to be in excellent shape, both mechanically and cosmetically. A sister Consol is display in Flagstaff, at the depot. What can anybody tell me about #12's operating history, her operating condition, and any possible plans to restore her to steam. The museum seems to value the locomotive and had kept her looking sharp.
