Better yet, in this picture, I also got the slightly darker-tinted Acme 22-1336 GMC Venetian Yellow chip to come out a little more orange than the model. This can definitely be a difficult color to match up just by how variable it can sometimes be...

One more look outside of the box. From what I see here, I might be able to get a better match on the cab training models at Strasburg with this Acme chip so that'll be going with me the next time as well...

Finally, a quick review of the difference between the incorrect restoration color on #1251 and the correct original color on the #900 FP-7 cab training model at the RRMPA in Strasburg. Any specific questions, Hostler, please ask!!!

BTW, an official Sherwin-Williams paint code for the proper Reading Yellow is F43XN2...
