Maybe...that's some kinda good thing. You're in it for the love of what you do, not the money. I would assume PA Amish country has a low cost of living?

Did you have a hard time keeping qualified people?

Times have changed. Decent people with reputable skillsets akin to what is needed for a role of this nature require appropriate compensation. You'd be fortunate to find an individual with the background and mindset for less than $40/hr. these days.
