I was only making a suggestion to Southern that he could potentially use say he and his museum are ever interested in working on the Baldwin. Never did I have any intention whatsoever to criticize the NCTM's staff let alone NC state for their situation. As for you Train I'm all open for full round discussion regarding the 505 but that will be done off this thread you understand. Don't stop dreaming, remain persistent ! It doesn't matter if you don't know everything and hopefully you won't; because then life will be boring !
Take the advice of others when they offer good advice. If you think Norfolk Southern #1616 could be/ should be restored to operating condition, then contact the museum and inquire what it would take; what's the worse they can say; NO ?!
