Too bad there doesn't appear to be a way to connect the two operating portions together. Even without passenger use just to move equipment back and forth.

Is it just me or does this seem like they pretty much agreed to rail with trail along the entire right of way after so much argument that it was impractical if not impossible to do so. only one short section is actually in dispute as to whether rail & trail can co exist, the other and larger section is only bureaucratic issue. I'm glad that a agreement could be reached, its just kinda funny how the political types can spin stuff like this. either way this is great news for the CMRR.
