Preliminary reports I have received do indeed indicate a sale to CN. No clue on the planned renumbering/renaming (if applicable).

Plus a correction for my earlier December post regarding ownership of the Ocean View. In 2019 it was resold by Amtrak at auction, not to Passenger Railcar Services Corp. (PAXX) as previously reported, but to "Railexco".

You had it right the first time.

PAXX sold the car to Railexco after it went to WMSR. Railexco sold the car recently to the mystery Class I.

GN 1199 Winnipeg Club. I have a nice photo of the car in a Duluth scrapyard, which doesn't neccessarily say it was scrapped.

GN #1195 "Port of Seattle" to Amtrak #3770. Retired and sold to Keystone Country Furniture in Aspers, PA. The Minnesota Transportation Museum had shown interest in acquiring the #1195, and a purchasing agreement was reached with the private owner who had purchased the car after Keystone Furniture had gone out of business. The car was still located in the back of the old Keystone property when it was set ablaze on November 11th, 2005. The purchase of the car by MTM became enveloped in a court case, the outcome of which I have no information on. To my knowledge, the fire-damaged #1195 is still located in Aspers, not having moved an inch.

Since I had someone asking me "what the #)*&!#@ ever happened to that round-end car along the Gettysburg Railroad?", this thread surfaced in my search for the answer, but doesn't appear to have been updated here in regards to this car:

The GN Survivors List states this car was scrapped in 2005:
