The video I just looked at showed only the Conrail painted SW-7 moving the steamer. At the end of the stream, they take off at a pretty nice clip down the line towards the restoration facility.

Answer to my own question: at 17:10 on the video the lub guy brought some grease.

The move started out with the CR SW7 but it seems they got hung up in the following push and at 36:10 B&O GP7 6405 in the "Sunburst" paint coupled on. The SW7 doesn't have MU so they doubleheaded. Later, 6405 cut off and let the shifter take it.

I don't think 2101 actually hit the coach at 47:17. When a 4-8-4 hits a lightweight coach, the coach will rock. This one didn't. The car is B&O Museum 130, Hershey Ware, originally PRR 21 Roomette sleeper 8246 Braddock Inn (Budd 1949)

Ross is right about the condition of the engine. There's a video from 1957 showing 2113 in Reading Roundhouse being fired up to run to St. Clair to push coal up to Locust Summit. They washed the tender sides, cab sides and running board skirts before backing it onto the turntable under steam to go North. For its last assignment.

Pete refers to 2113 at Reading in 1957 coming out of the Roundhouse to go to Gordon for service on the Shamokin Division. She looks like she's ready to pull the King Coal there rather than push freight up to Locust Summit.

The video is about the Shops and is worth watching.

"FMNut" is lifelong Reading area resident, former Conrail employee, and Hawk Mountain Chapter NRHS member Rich Frey, who was on the China tour I went on in 1987. Excellent work by him on this video.

#2101 did look pretty darn sharp in that modified Chessie System scheme, I must say.

I was at the B&O museum a couple weeks ago and got a glimpse of 2101 through the fence. Looks work hasn't started yet.

That's the after the fire paint job, I've seen pictures of it, after the fire,it did burn off.
