What remains of the six Santa Fe baggage dorm/high level adapter cars #3477-3482 that were modified for use on the new High level El Capitan and the seven P-S diners #600- 606 built in 1950 for the Super Chief?

I know that BNSF has #600 that has been heavily rebuilt at least on the inside. Any other survivors?

Interestingly considering how many cars Amtrak bought from Santa Fe I believe the only ATSF cars that Amtrak rebuilt to HEP were the Pine series Budd sleepers and the baggage cars.

As far as HEP, a lot more than just the Pine-series 10-6 sleepers and baggage cars. Almost all of the El Capitan Hi-Levels, almost all of the later Budd-built chairs, and several of the later Budd-built lunch counters (see a pattern here?) got switched to HEP as well.

As for your disposition questions, there is an entire thread on here of AT&SF lightweight car dispositions, all you want to know can be found there: http://www.rypn.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=36584

According to the Railway Preservation Index, 3480 and 3482 survive, but not as the lightweight hi level adapters.

3480 is in Pine Bluff as a part of the Arkansas Railway Museum, most known for Cotton Belt 819.

3482 is in Hagerstown at the Hagerstown Roundhouse museum, near the site of the now demolished Hagerstown Roundhouse.
