From the director of "Rocky Mountain Express" and "The Red Rocket," we have a new movie in production, "The Trolley," part history lesson, part advocacy for modern street railways.

Like Stephen Low's earlier work, it features what can only be described as a good story and spectacular photography--and now some impressive computer animation, too.

Check out the trailer, which is part of what's in the link below.

Meanwhile, if I understand a story on the Trains Magazine Newswire correctly, Stephen Low has been filming using ex-SP 4449.

WOW!! From the Trains story, that likely will be part of this new project.

The 4449 will look wonderful in this, I'm sure.

How come we don't do these things, but this Canadian guy does?

He also put out an extremely highly-recommended documentary film on the 765 and the Ft. Wayne group as a whole: https://fortwaynerailroad.org/product/l ... cumentary/

Haha, thanks for the plug -- wish I had a whisper of the budget that the Stephen Low Company had.

Maybe someday...

Hoping to do a follow up on the FWRHS doc early next year.
