Does anyone know the #800xxx-series number of the Pacific Home?
The Pacific Home, as owned by Chuck Jensen/National Passenger Car Co., is now in service with an Amtrak #800xxx-series number, specifically #800971.

Pacific Plateau to #1433 (1970) to Amtrak #2626 to HEP #2434 (1980). Stored in 2001 and later sold (when??) to ITAX. Resold (when??) to STI-Global, converted in 2011 to rail analyzer car, renamed Michael D. Harding, and leased to BNSF.
The ex-Pacific Plateau is now owned by NXGEN Rail as NXGX #380, is still named Michael D. Harding, and is still leased to BNSF. It is commonly part of a three-car geometry train with BNSF track measurement/theater inspection car #87 Skagit River (#800533; ex-sightseer coach #42, exx-BN #A33, exxx-Transcisco Tours Donner Lake, nee-SP 145 seat gallery commuter coach #3702, P-S, 1955) and BNSF geometry support car #88 Atchison (#800232; ex-business car #5, exx-AT&SF #52, exxx-#5001, nee-#5001 Santa Fe [1st], P-S, 1949).

Pacific Castle to #1407 (not applied) to Amtrak #2605 to HEP #2438 (1980). Retired in 2002. Current status unknown.

Pacific Castle was acquired by AOE and after they folded, was stored at their shops at Western Junction, WA (south of Olympia and northeast of the twin towns of Centralia-Chehalis, located where the former MILW Tacoma & Eastern line to Centralia-Chehalis interchanged with Weyerhaeuser's Chehalis & Western). Also stored there was former NP baggage car #233. I had identified the #233 several years ago, but just now came across the following photo of the Pacific Castle, both identifying it and confirming that it was still intact (moved from Western Jct. down to Chehalis) as of January of this year. Also a photo of the #233 taken the same day.

Does anyone know who AOE acquired the #233 from, and when? Also, was the Pacific Castle acquired directly from Amtrak, or was there another party in between? Given the later retirement date (2002), I'm making the educated guess that it was acquired directly for their proposed "AOE II" trainset, shortly before they folded.

Also, with the cars being moved from Western Jct. down the ex-MILW to Chehalis itself, was this done with a change in ownership?

Side note: also photographed there that day was Simpson Timber Co. SW1200 #1202, built in 3/59 as FW&D #610, with at least one other Simpson switcher seen in the background.

Pacific Patrol found in Beech Grove Indiana on May 2, 2020. I live near the shop and decided to take a walk around the south side to see if there were any relics out there. Primarily Superliners on the west side. I found your forum when I "googled" Pacific Patrol and decided to share the latest status. The number is 25??

The Museum of the American Railroad in Frisco, Texas reports that they have added ex-Amtrak #2516 Pacific Gardens to their collection.
