I was giving this whistle about 50 yrs ago by my dad. If I remember right he took it off an old locamotive at Simpson Timber Company. Was about to give it away but decided to try looking it up on internet first. Suprise! this thing has some value. Couldn't find one that matched exactly but close. Deminsion wise everything a little smaller. My question is what exactly did this come off of? What is it? And value estimate? Hooked it up to my compressor and still blows. Grandkids are thrilled. Thanks, any info would be appreciated. Oh yea, also has 2261 stamped on base.
