Childhood memories of an American Flyer under the Christmas Tree are brought to life and filled with special meaning as Steve Crise tells the story of Christmas Then and Now.

My condolences to Steve. The then and now photos are priceless. This year, my American Flyer trains from 1956 grace our tree with their presence and brought back a lot of fond memories from my childhood. Oops, I just realized I dated myself....

That sort of brought back memories, but not of my childhood. Some 20 years ago, my late wife remarked
that the tree looked bare after the presents were gone.
The next year she got me a little HO set with a circle of track. Well, we know what happened next! A 4 by 10 foot layout with 2 controllers, 3 locomotives, triple track, houses, etc.
