Alright everyone. So, I'm currently writing a children's book series called “Tales of the Carolina & West Mountain Railroad”, Which takes place on a fictitious shortline between Yadkinville to Boone, North Carolina between the 1920's and 1940's. Anyway, my title character is Simon the Switcher, who I Based off a USRA 0-6-0 Switcher. And that led me to wonder: other the Nickel Plate Road 3960 at the Age of Steam Roundhouse, Do any of the USRA 0-6-0 Switchers, or any copies survive today? I'm just curious...
