Hello, My name is Alec and this is my second posting on this site and first on the rail-fanning forum. I am working on a secret project that I am planning to finish by late April next year. Someone told me to be on this forum because they might know more. My first question was about the last steam engines on the Southern Railway besides the #6330. I was wondering if anybody on this section known anything about this. One of these last runs was the last train to come into Winston-Salem from Barbers Junction in 1952. This was from a LP record from TrolleyDodger site. If anyone has any details on this and the other final engines on the Southern Railway, that would be very appreciative. I would also note that I will annouce the name of the project sometime in January and to give details on it. Looking forward to talking more ideas with you guys. See you around. Alec Butler |
