Must have a different engine to the "gutless wonder" 903cc one that is fitted to my 1976 model Fiat 127 !!
Wouldn't dare try anything like that with it................

This was when the Italians were doing a lot of movies, often crime pix, that involved some amazing--simply amazing!!--stunt driving. Perhaps the best known would be the original version of "The Italian Job," which starred Michael Caine and quite a few others.

Just saw a commercial for the new Toyota Corolla hybrid featuring an old Rick Nelson song. Anyone know what line was used for the "Steele & Western" train scenes?

I'm guessing the FORT Steele & Western, in British Columbia, Canada?

It looks like it was the Fillmore and Western. (The diesel rolling by in the beginning is the giveaway).
Although, as to why they lettered one of the cars "Steele and Western" is a mystery.

This Ford Explorer Commercial was filmed on the Grand Canyon Railway in 2002.

A new Jeep Compass commercial "Where you go" has a brief shot of a couple walking along a high railroad trestle which appears to be still in service.

Just saw an interesting commercial last night for the Acura TLX. It intermixes the old with the new and finishes with the hero rescuing the girl tied to the railroad track just ahead of the train.

Still another train-themed commercial for Eliquis. It appears to be the location in Scotland used in the Harry Potter movie.

There is a piece of lost media somewhere of GTW 6323 which was pulled out in during July 22nd-24th of 1961 to star in a commercial promoting the then new 1962 Pontiac where the northern would pull the cars via flatbed. This commercial is mentioned in Charles R. Foss's book "Grand Trunk Western: Evening Before the Diesel." or otherwise known just as "Evening before the Diesel."

Here is the IRM Rail and Wire page which also mentions the commercial: https://www.irm.org/rail-wire/page-2/

And no one's mentioned the "Free-Range Chicken" of GEICO fame, shot in part on the now-changed Filmore & Western??

There is the Samsonite commercial where the suitcase is run over by a train ( if I recall, it was Magma Arizona 5 doing the suitcase killing...)
