Video footage of an excursion in South America, from what looks like a partially preserved enginehouse (complete with coaling tower, although not functional), and a light 4-8-2 that looks very American, if a bit on the light side, complete with right hand drive, what looks like a Chambers front-end throttle, and a bell. Overall appearance of the locomotive is very reminiscent of something from the FEC.

Too bad the railroad it runs on shows some signs of neglect, making me wonder how healthy the Chilean system is.

Museum is in Temuco. Gates weren't there in the 1990s. Need them now to keep the scrap thieves out. Lots of nice locos there & some pretty impressive bridges on the line.
