While looking through a Baldwin VO-1000 shop manual yesterday I noticed that it called for a "B-6 Pneuphonic Air Horn". I'm no horn expert, but I've never heard of this model. Could it be a Wabco?

Pneuphonic is a WABCO product. We have them on several cars at WRM.

I don't have any catalogs handy with more details.

I spent a while going through some Westinghouse catalogs and parts listings for air horns, and found nothing related to a "B" series of air horns, aside from the E2B1 set which showed up on a few PRR electrics. But what I have doesn't go back to 1939 when VO-1000 production started, only to the late 1940s.

However, an online search reveals a mention of a "WABCO B-7" air horn set in Australia.

After doing some more research I believe I stumbled across the same refference as ADM to a B-7. Still no luck with B-6 though. This particular shop manual covers WM VO-660's and 1000's. WM is known for their use of the early Nathan H-5's, maybe they used whatever a B-6 was too. I'd really like to get one for WM 132 if that's what it wore originally. Before anyone gets any ideas, don't tell me you know where there's a B-6 in a quarry!
