Hi Guys,
Thought I should introduce myself. I have loved trains all my life. Spent my early years playing by the tracks in downtown Bath,Mi. Asked for a toy train as early as 5 years old.
Got a wind up train then had to wait until I was ten for a model train. Moved to Colorado in the early 1980s and started chasing trains out west. Now in my 50s my wife and I have built a house in Bath and I have started to build an On30 layout in the basement.
I have had a Youtube accounthttp://www.youtube.com/dreambuilders48808?feature= for many years and posted many of my videos Past and Present there.
My latest endeavor was to rent the Pere Marquette 1225 for a trip on March 15th 2014 and I am selling tickets for that excursion. It may well turn out to be the first excursion for PM 1225 in almost five years. You may find more info at my website http://www.railyardproductions.com
Thanks,

No, Its not listed on Steam Central yet. I will post it there soon. I'm pretty busy with my day job right now but will post the info ASAP. If anyone wants to spread the news thats fine by me too.

That is so cool! I did not know the Steam Railroading Institute would have Pere Marquette 1225 up and running by then. I was told that they were still desparate for more funds to complete the remaining boiler, tube, and staybolt work. It will be great to see PM 1225 join NKP 765 again someday like they did at the 1991 NRHS Convention in West Virginia. I remember when they both pulled a couple excursions for that event through the New River Gorge. Yes, those were the glory days: When CSX actually allowed steam to operate on its rails.

Anyway, congratualtions on becoming a new member of this forum, and I hope you and I, along with others, can continue to discuss railroading topics together. I am looking forward to it! God Bless!
