Post subject:  Hale& Kilburn High Back Seat frames with Head Roll - Wanted

Does anyone know of a source/interested seller for Hale & Kilburn High Back seat backs with the head roll?
Frame, springs, support plates for the walk-over seat backs (two-sided upholstery) and also some stationary bulkhead (one-sided) seats may be of interest - in tact upholstery not required for either of these.

These are about 25" tall and 36" wide (~34" wide for the one-sided bulkhead seats usually). They usually have contoured backs with 2 sewing seams horizontally spaced about 6-8 inches apart on both sides. The walk over (2-sided) seat backs have the steel Hale and Kilburn bracket on the both sides with all the patent numbers on the castings.

Not particularly looking for the bottom seat frame or the steel seat frame mechanisms - seem to have plenty of those.

Also not interested in the more common, flat, non-contoured Hale & Kilburn seat backs.

Image excerpt from early 1900's Ad shown below.

Thanks

[Fair warning: clarifying and bumping my own post]
Located an on-line reference to a picture archive of the relevant Hale and Kilburn seat with a pattern number

https://www.lakestatesarchive.org/CRIP- ... -JWvtGxj/A (pictures available for sale, but can be viewed with the water mark.)

The seat in the link is identified as Pattern 197 (Harriman) and has the high back, contoured seat back. There are other Pattern 197 images shown (if you go up one level to https://www.lakestatesarchive.org/CRIP- ... -Hardware/) including one with plain, non-contoured seat back, one marked for New Haven (presumably railroad) with the high back contoured seat back, and some with different arm rest styles. So, unfortunately, the pattern number may help but is not strictly sufficient.

I am going to presume that the pattern number refers to the seat frame, mechanism and attachments for the seat bottom and the seat back. You will also notice that a seat Pattern marked 199-CE has the contoured high backseat back while 199-AE does not have the contoured seat back. I might be convinced that CE refers to the high back contoured seat back (while AE is the plain one) but comparison of the pictures probably isn't sufficient to make that claim.

The seat backs of interest are the contoured ones such as in the first link shown above but there are other Hale and Kilburn Patterns that have a similar contoured high back seat. Such as shown for the Pattern 197 (Harriman) and Pattern 199-CE and some others.

The particular upholstery cloth condition or color, type, etc. is not of concern as these would be re-upholstered.

I am hopeful that the possible pattern numbers may help in narrowing down or identifying what is being sought although the Pattern numbers apparently are not always definitive for the high back contoured seat backs.
