I'm not the owner, just passing this along with permission

The Great Northern round-end observation car "Trempelau Mountain" is available for sale. It must be moved soon, or it's getting cut up. It's located on Snoqualmie Pass, WA adjacent to I-90. Owner also has an Alaska RR caboose for sale.

Contact Info: Ken Hotz, 931 209 2115

From the owner: "...in a few days I have to make some decisions . We are not a scrap company we own the 31 acres . And yes I plan on using a big excavator with a shear attachment and cutting the 2 remaining cars . 1 was purchased tonight. Once I have a none refundable deposit they can sit for 6 weeks I don't have time to list them as we are going to develop the property and everything is in my way and I need to start building before the snow flys".

Here is an update to the original FB post, good news, if a bit odd (I'm surprised there wasn't more interest in this car, other than as a cafe' 2K miles away): "Hotz Hitchez
So here is an update, the observation car will be taken to New Orleans and will arrive by the 31st of October. It will be placed on a 121+ x 21 foot wide lot. It will be completely restored and turned into a restaurant with a little train depot along side of it. Michael .H is the new owner and currently working on getting low boy lined up to haul. So thanks everyone and we still have 1 caboose left. So I you stopped by at any point and made an offer , I dont have a way to contact the few who inquired about the caboose so get in touch with me again please. 1d"
