Nordsjællands Jernbaneklub (North Zealand Railway Club) is offering for sale Swedish Railways 1307, an 80 metric ton, standard gauge, 2-6-4 tank engine. A full sales prospectus will be released next month, but it is desired for prospective buyers to make contact with us now.

Swedish Railways (SJ) 1307 is not within our organization's collection policy, and we have decided to de-access it.

This locomotive was in active mainline service in the periods 1990-2006 and 2017-2021. The locomotive was withdrawn in December 2021 due to severe degradation of the mudring and the wrapper sheet. The locomotive has numerous components in need of reconditioning/replacement. 1307 is otherwise approved for operation on the Danish railways with a maximum speed of 90 km/h.

The locomotive is otherwise in good cosmetic condition, and is stored indoors, dry and oiled.

All sales terms require approval of the Board of Nordsjællands Jernbaneklub.

A handsome locomotive. Are the tires polished metal?

Just the sunlight, good hygiene, and oil.
