It has been a matter of some concern for me, with all the unrest in the Portland area, is the 4449 and all the other railroad assets of the group in a safe part of town? I'd hate to see all the hard work lost. 4449, 700, the PA1, etc are national treasures to me....
Thanks,

Dan

I live in the Portland area, right now the protests are confined to a small downtown area on the west side of the Willamette River; the ORHC, 4449, the PA etc. is across the river and about a mile south. There is a light rail/ pedestrian bridge across the river that ends about 100 feet from ORHC. During the initial protests shops in the downtown area were hit by looting mostly, not industrial areas on the other side of the river. If something like the George Floyd murder happens again though all bets are off.
