RAILROAD SHOP/RIGHT OF WAY SUPERVISOR

The Huckleberry Railroad is looking for a RAILROAD SHOP/RIGHT OF WAY SUPERVISOR. The Huckleberry Railroad is a 36” gauge steam powered tourist railroad offering patrons an 8 mile ride located in Genesee County Michigan outside of Flint. Major Cities such as Ann Arbor and Detroit are about an hour away. The railroad is operated by the 11,000 acre Genesee County Parks and Recreation Commission.
The successful candidate will possess skills and knowledge in the repair and maintenance of steam locomotives, diesel locomotives, railroad coaches, and railroad right of way including switches, signals, trestles, crossing gates and roadbed. The successful candidate will also be able to plan, supervise and work in conjunction with the operations manager.
