Trying to find a good home for my 1921 coal-burning Baldwin 2-6-0 which was restored (boiler and frame-up) in 2012. I had a team of engineers working on it for 14 months in 2011 and 2012 to take it from a wreck to a fully restored locomotive. Runs perfectly. Stored inside in a secure area in Bogota, Colombia. It is possible to export the "Number 8" from Colombia and I have lawyers ready to assist with the process.

Before and after pictures and a video shortly after restoration can be seen at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lSBnov2kg6g

Another video can be seen at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UmBZJI1-i2w

I have other video from September 2016 when I last drove it in Bogota. Other photos can be sent on request to interested parties. Please contact info@cosseygeo.com

Asking $600,000 or best offer. Complete details upon request.

Hello, That's quite a nice engine! One feature that caught my eye was what looks like a Wakefield Mechanical Lubricator on the running boards. Were Wakefield Lubricators widely used on Columbian locomotives? I ask only because the two locomotives I work on have Wakefield Lubricators, and it never hurts to know if there is a source for parts out in the world. Thanks!

I will check into that and let you know. They do have a large parts inventory in the Bogota workshops because they maintain a fleet of 5 steam locomotives (including mine).
