I am looking for engineering drawings (not the parts list drawings) for the Franklin Fire Door No. 9 (oval clamshell type). I have to make patterns for this part. I can measure the ones on the locomotive but having good drawings always helps.

I investigated those and was told that the Franklin archive was destroyed.

You could scan it with a 3D scanner add that with some hand measuring and come up with an accurate set of drawings.

I plan to make a solid model file set for a couple of the smaller Franklin's and an Economy fire doors.

My plans is to scan, scan, scan.
