Post subject:  Help save a rare Southern Railway wooden cupola caboose

The Alexander Chapter NRHS is currently trying to save an extremely rare Southern Railway caboose built in 1922. How rare? Well, there are more preserved SR steam engines than there are wooden cabooses. We know of 4, possibly 5, though one of them is basically a complete reconstruction. In any event, the one we are after is amazingly complete, with truss rods, braking system, tool boxes, grab irons, etc, missing only trucks.

We have 4 more weeks to raise money to meet our goal of $25k.

Please consider a donation to help this project.

Donations online can be made at www.gofundme.com/X2715
