In cooperation with the University of Minnesota Press, the Minnesota Streetcar Museum is accepting pre-publication orders for the new book Twin Cities by Trolley.

With over 400 photographs and 70 maps, Twin Cities by Trolley tells the story of the Twin City Rapid Transit Company system from its earliest days through its heyday in the years before and immediately after World War I to its ultimate surrender to the automobile in the 1950s. The book chronicles the history of every line in the system, takes the reader on a grand tour of its shops and carhouses, and explores every detail of its organization and operations. Written by MSM members John Diers and Aaron Isaacs, it is being published by The University of Minnesota Press in the spring of 2007.
