Trinity Valley Railroad Historical Association has the following 1940s-era freight cars available for purchase: ~ex- Texas & Pacific Railway boxcar X4446 ~ex- Texas & Pacific Railway flatcar 5207 ~former Armour/PCX ice refrigerator boxcar. Carbodies fair-to-good condition, some rust. The T&P cars ride roller-bearing trucks. The PCX reefer is on friction trucks. Asking $3000.00 apiece, or best offer.
